Invitational Expeditions are short, custom courses created by volunteer leaders to target individuals interested in significantly engaging in Outward Bound through the donation of their time, talent and energy. The ultimate goal is to build upon and expand our presence in local communities by growing the network of active ambassadors of Outward Bound, and reconnect with other volunteer leaders.

Participants are immersed in the Outward Bound philosophy and educational model through specifically tailored expeditions designed to ignite strong leadership and a commitment to service. Each attendee is asked to contribute a donation to enable Outward Bound to continue serving students.

The Green is a wonderful introduction to the special world of desert rivers traveling through the dramatic sandstone cliffs and enchanting canyons of the imposing Unita Mountains in Colorado and Utah. It is perhaps the most scenic of all the Utah river canyons and features abundant wildlife, beautiful side hikes, and several significant rapids.
