PROGRAM HIGHLIGHTS
On February 6, the OBBA Youth Leadership Corps participants showed what OB is really about when we teamed up to paint Wellness Center at Visitacion Valley Middle School, one of our school partners. Youth Leadership is a merit based scholarship for Bay Area students to expedition in the High Sierra for 14 days. Accepted students come back from course for a year of service, activities, and community building. This project brought it all full circle by providing service for the middle schoolers at VVMS who participate in in-classroom OB lessons every Friday and 5-Day Expeditions.
