Wilderness Instructor – At Risk Expeditions, FL/AL - May 2010

Salary: $80 - $120 per day

We offer a 12-week training and orientation programs throughout the year which provides new instructors with the skills and certifications needed to be a wilderness instructor with at-risk youth.  We are currently accepting applications for the training program that will start in May 2010.

Discovery is seeking enthusiastic, energetic, and dynamic outdoor educators and teachers interested in working seasonally or full time with struggling teens and young adults.

Responsibilities include teaching life skills and outdoor education on 18 to 30 day wilderness canoe expeditions throughout Florida and Alabama.

We offer seasonal and full time employment with preference given to applicants interested in instructing for one year or more.
