Heroic Journey is a unique partnership with Outward Bound and Judi's House, specifically designed for teens coping with the death of a loved one. During this transformational seven-day wilderness adventure, participants experience powerful grief work activities woven into the context of the traditional Outward Bound curriculum. This adventure includes hiking, backpacking, peak ascent, ropes course, and more.

About Judi's House
Judi's House is a 501(c)3 not-for-profit organization that provides free grief support services, outreach efforts, educational information and programming, and scholarly research on the effects of grief on children. Founded by NFL quarterback Brian Griese in 2002 in honor of his mother who passed away when he was young, Judi's House is a place of hope and healing for grieving children and their families. At Judi's House, an environment of acceptance and understanding allows children and adults in peer support groups to share their experience of loss with others. Judi's House is located in Denver, Colorado, and more than 2,600 children and their adult caregivers from the metro area have participated in the organization's group sessions since opening its doors in 2002.
