Washington — Mount Rainier

Mount Rainier, at 14,410 feet, is the most extensively glaciated peak in the contiguous United States. With the combination of northwest weather, high altitude, and variable terrain, you will find this mountain to be the perfect place to test your alpine skills. Read on for more details on this wonderful climb and seminar...

The Expedition:

Our 5-day Executive Leadership Expedition is the ideal length of time to obtain both your "hard skills" such as crevasse rescue and glacier travel, and your "soft skills" such as what does effective expedition behavior look like and how can you be clear and effective in your communication and leadership style on the mountain? Our route will ascend either the Ingraham Glacier or the Emmons Glacier, conditions dependent.

Combine the above, with in depth pre- and post- program discussions at the world famous Rainier Lodge, and you have an expedition recipe for success!

Outward Bound Professional offers custom expeditions around the world with a focus on Outward Bound Professional's Leadership Development Profiling model as the adventure progresses. On this expedition, you will explore and practice the art of leadership daily, using mountaineering and expedition living as the medium for your learning.

During the course of your expedition you will also receive lectures on how leaders go from Good to Great, from both guest speakers that are innovators in the business world, as well as world class adventurers, who live Transformational Leadership to the limit! All while planning and executing a real mountaineering expedition. Join us!
