Outward Bound Little Rock is currently working with community organizations, local businesses, and schools in Little Rock to bring its customized programming to the city and its surrounding communities through a new Center location. Drawing upon the city's rich culture and history, and using Arkansas' national and state park systems as a staging ground, Outward Bound aims to deliver programming to Central Arkansas that is focused on character development, leadership and service.
Outward Bound Little Rock will serve youth and adults from the community, public and private schools, at-risk youth and their families, veterans, educators, and business professionals. Courses will run from 1 to 30 days in length, take place in both urban and wilderness settings, and include activities ranging from rock climbing to canoeing to professional trainings and workshops.
The Center is currently in the planning stages and is projected to begin running pilot courses in the Spring of 2010.

Outward Bound Little Rock will work with the organization , school, or corporation to design a course that meets their particular goals. Services can range from a half day of initiatives to multi-day expeditions. Prices vary depending on services.

Spread the word to individuals or organizations that would be interested in helping to support or participate in an Outward Bound course.
Let us know if your school, company, or organization is interested in learning more about the services provided by Outward Bound.
You can help us reach our goal for start up funds by donating services, space for storage and/or staff housing, and equipment.
Monetary donations are also vital in helping us purchase gear, vehicles, and to provide programming to serve the community.
