The Outward Bound Little Rock pilot is currently working with community organizations, local businesses, and schools in Little Rock to bring its customized programming to the city and its surrounding communities through a new Center location. Drawing upon the city's rich culture and history, and using Arkansas' national and state park systems as a staging ground, Outward Bound aims to deliver programming to Central Arkansas that is focused on character development, leadership and service.
Outward Bound Little Rock will serve youth and adults from the community, public and private schools, at-risk youth and their families, veterans, educators, and business professionals. Courses will run from 1 to 30 days in length, take place in both urban and wilderness settings, and include activities ranging from rock climbing to canoeing to professional trainings and workshops.
