Short-term and longitudinal outcomes evaluated with Indiana University show statistically significant increases in Resilience, Sense of Coherence (the ability to deal with stress through meaning) and Personal Constructs including healthy and balanced life, goal-setting, compassion, effective communication, problem-solving and social responsibility.
Sense of Coherence—A measure of the ability to effectively manage and find meaning in stressful situations. Recent studies suggest that a high sense of coherence can result in decreases in depression, anxiety, symptoms of post traumatic stress disorder, and anger.
