Christine Cook is the global chief revenue officer of Blomberg Media leading global advertising revenues across all media platforms including digital, digital video, linear TV, audio, events, custom content, and programmatic revenues. Prior to Bloomberg, Cook was SVP Brand Partnerships at WarnerMedia responsible for liaising with advertising creative agencies to develop partnership opportunities for Warner Bros. Discovery’s iconic IP and fan-centered experiences that further brands’ impact.
Formerly the chief revenue officer and senior vice president of CNN Digital for Warner Bros. Discovery Ad Sales, Cook’s oversight included sales strategy for CNN's overall digital portfolio encompassing its premium verticals, mobile products, programmatic advertising, and emerging businesses. She played a critical role in creating a holistic sales approach across CNN’s digital business, while strengthening digital revenue opportunities in line with the company’s go-to-market strategies. With a special focus on video, social, and rich branded content campaigns, she also partners closely with the news marketing solutions team and Courageous Studios, brand studio for CNN and HLN, to bring to life the KPIs of ad partners across CNN’s digital footprint.
Prior to joining Warner Bros. Discovery, Cook served as senior vice president and global head of advertising partnerships at Flipboard. During her six years at the company, Cook oversaw the global sales force and mobile-led revenue strategy. As an advisor, and then founding member of the advertising business team, she built the partnerships unit from the ground up, which was responsible for publisher partnerships, advertising sales, operations, and creative brand marketing strategy. Prior to joining Flipboard in 2012, Cook held leadership roles at The Daily, Martha Stewart Living Omnimedia, IAC/InterActiveCorp, Financial Times, and New York Times Digital, where she founded the company’s first international sales office in London.
Cook was named a 2020 She Runs It Changing the Game honoree. She also was honored as a 2019 Broadcasting & Cable Digital All-Star and on the 2018 Cynopsis Digital It List. Cook was a Board member for Women of Warner Bros. Discovery an internal business resource group at Warner Bros. Discovery. She has held roles at Internet Advertising Bureau (IAB), Mobile Marketing Association (MMA), Digital Ascendant, Digital Content Next, Advertising Women of New York/She Runs It, and New York Women in Communications. A graduate of Louisiana University with a Bachelor of Arts in English Literature, Cook currently resides in New York City.
