Why Now?

In just two short years, a generation of young people has stood witness to the COVID-19 pandemic, the murder of George Floyd, and ongoing senseless shootings at schools just like theirs. They are seeking resilience skills and a sense of belonging to make them whole. Outward Bound is working with communities to address an elevated need for social and emotional learning and support.

Why Outward Bound?

We believe that the confidence and resiliency skills students discover during their Outward Bound experience inspire bolder futures and are antidotes to challenges they face, today and tomorrow. Outward Bound educational programs across the USA are life-changing.
